Celebrating Christmas has ALWAYS been big in my family-Thanksgiving of course giving it an equal run for the money!! We love everything about it-the celebration of Christ's birth, the food, the gathering of family of friends, the excitement of opening gifts-which we have needled down during the last couple of years, opting to keep the true celebration-i like to do homemade ones-more personal!! My son, had a visit from Santa and he was enthralled with the fact that Santa could visit so many houses in one night. We had a major breakthrough this year-A Vegetarian Feast, macaroni and cheese, fresh greenbean casserole, mushroom gravy, cabbage with onions abd carrots, and deviled eggs, along with two pies-squash, and pecan-creamcheese,and a huge butterpecan cake!!! You know what life is good...... Thank,Jesus!!! By the way, I also celebrate Kwanzaa and look forward the extension of the Holiday Season, because my Christmas blues began to fall on me last night after our guest left-I was suddenly missing all of the Christmas music that I knew would not be playing on the radion continuously the next day, the decoration that would be and are already being replaced with valentine displays and such, though the public display of the season is short, you can always carry it in your heart!! God bless
